Apex Landworks provides three core land services to property owners, landowners, and developers in Greeneville, TN, and the surrounding region. We focus on what we do well — forestry mulching, gravel driveway repair and regrading, and hydro-seeding — and we don’t take on jobs outside that scope just to fill a schedule.
The decision to start Apex Landworks came from a simple reality: there’s a lot of land in this part of Tennessee, and a lot of property owners who need reliable help maintaining it. Whether it’s a homeowner trying to reclaim overgrown acreage, a developer who needs a cleared and stabilized site, or a rural property owner whose gravel driveway gets worse every time it rains — these are real, consistent needs, and we built this business to meet them.
Between us, we bring about four years of hands-on experience in land management and the services we offer. We’ve done the work. We know what the equipment can and can’t do, and we know what a finished job should look like.
Forestry mulching is one of the most efficient ways to clear overgrown vegetation from a property. Using a dedicated mulching machine, we process brush, small trees, and undergrowth directly on site, grinding material down and incorporating it back into the soil. There’s no hauling debris, no burning, and minimal disruption to the topsoil underneath.
This service is well suited for landowners who need to clear acreage for a pasture, a build site, a recreational trail, or just general land reclamation. It’s also commonly used before hydro-seeding to prepare the ground.
Gravel driveways in East Tennessee take a beating. Steep grades, heavy rainfall, and regular traffic all work against even a well-installed road. Over time, the surface erodes, low spots collect water, and the whole thing starts to wash out.
We repair and regrade existing gravel driveways to restore proper drainage and surface stability. That includes regrading the road bed, addressing erosion issues, repairing or installing culverts, and cutting drainage channels where needed. We work on the existing driveway — we don’t do new installations, but if your road is in rough shape, we can usually bring it back.
Hydro-seeding applies a slurry mixture of seed, water, mulch, and tackifier directly onto bare or disturbed ground using a pump and hose system. It establishes grass and ground cover much faster than conventional seeding, which makes it especially valuable right after construction or land clearing when exposed soil is vulnerable to erosion.
We work with residential homebuilders and commercial contractors who need ground stabilization after a build, as well as landowners who’ve had recent clearing or grading work done and need the soil covered quickly.
